How Much Does a Bathroom Cost in London

Every bathroom is different, so the final cost will depend on the size of the room, the products selected, the level of specification and the work required on site.

Bathroom project costs, explained clearly

A streamlined shower room designed around ease, comfort and everyday practicality, with considered storage, lighting and finishes throughout.

Bath & Walk-in Shower Room - £30+

A larger bathroom with space for both a bath and separate walk-in shower, allowing for a more luxurious layout and greater flexibility in the design.

Our Design Fee

Our bathroom design service is £250, which is refundable against your bathroom order.

This covers the time spent developing your design, including the room layout, product specification, finishes and overall design direction.

Following your consultation and home visit, we’ll present your proposed bathroom design and talk you through the specification in detail.

How payments work

Payments are made in stages throughout the project rather than all at once.

A typical project may include:

1. Design fee

£250 to begin the detailed design process, refundable against your bathroom order.

Payment for your bathroom products once the specification has been agreed and the order is ready to be placed.

2. Product order

Installation costs are agreed separately with your installer and are usually paid in stages as the work progresses.

3. Installation payments

If unforeseen work or changes are required during the installation, these will be discussed with you before proceeding.

Frequently asked questions

Are these prices fixed?

1

No. The figures shown are a guide based on typical North Arch Bathrooms projects. Your final cost will depend on your room, specification and installation requirements.

Does the price include installation?

2

The guide is intended to give an indication of the overall project cost. Your final quotation will clearly set out the products, design and installation costs relevant to your project.

Can you work to a specific budget?

3

Yes. Understanding your budget early helps our designers recommend the right products, finishes and layout for your project.

Why can two bathrooms of the same size cost different amounts?

4

The specification can make a significant difference. Brassware, furniture, tiles, bespoke details and the amount of work required behind the scenes can all affect the final cost.

5

Not at all. Part of our role is to help you explore the possibilities and guide you towards a design that works for your home, style and budget.

How long does the design process take?

6

Following your consultation and home visit, your design presentation is typically prepared within around 7–10 days.

What happens after the design is approved?

7

We finalise the product specification, arrange a site visit with one of our recommended installers and coordinate the next stages of your project.
