Our Design & Installation Process
At North Arch Bathrooms, our process is designed to make your bathroom renovation seamless from start to finish. Whether you’re planning a luxury ensuite or a family bathroom, every project begins with listening - understanding your ideas, your lifestyle, and what you truly want from your space.
Our design team handles every stage of the design and supply in-house, and coordinates closely with your installer throughout - so communication stays in one place throughout your project.

Every project begins with a conversation. Most clients prefer a call. Others would rather come into the showroom and talk it through in person. Either works.
We cover the room you are renovating, what you want from it, and how we work, and you come away with a realistic sense of cost before anything is committed. No charge, no obligation. -
We visit your property, measure the space properly and talk through how you want to live in the room. Storage, layout, the things that frustrate you about it now, and anything you would like tied in with the rest of the house. Firm ideas are welcome, and so is a blank page.
Our design fee is £250 per bathroom, fully refundable once you place your order. It covers the visit, sourcing samples and the design work that follows. -
Around five days after your home consultation, you are invited to our Muswell Hill design studio for a private presentation. Your drawings go up on screen and a physical moodboard is laid out in front of you, so you can handle the real tiles, brassware and finishes rather than judge them from a render. Your full costed proposal is presented here.
With over 30 years of combined design experience, our team creates bathrooms built around the way you actually live. -
Once your product deposit is paid, we carry out a pre-installation survey with the recommended installer who will be carrying out your project. We select and put that installer forward, so it is not something you need to source.
The survey confirms every technical detail, so the price is accurate and the programme is right before work begins. Your final quotation follows. Clear, comprehensive, no hidden extras. -
Installation is carried out by independent installers we recommend and have worked alongside for years. Plumbing, electrics, tiling, carpentry and microcement are each handled by specialists.
We produce a full fitters’ pack covering every element of the design and coordinate deliveries around the programme, so everything arrives when it is needed. Your home is kept tidy and protected throughout.
A typical North Arch installation takes three to four weeks depending on size and specification. Dates are allocated first come, first served and confirmed once your order is placed. -
When the work is finished we return to the property and walk through the completed room with you. Every detail is checked and signed off to the North Arch standard, and we produce a final report on the project for your records.
The installers we recommend provide a 12-month labour warranty, given by and claimed directly from them.
