This basement family bathroom previously contained little more than a bath, leaving a lot of unused space. The brief was to bring a Californian feel to the room, introducing warm orange and green tones throughout.

Khaki green microcement is paired with clay tiles from Ca’ Pietra, with the orange picked up again in the statement Hip basin. A Duravit DuraKanto bath and brushed nickel Coalbrook fittings add a timeless element, while the Crittall-effect shower screen and Ca’ Pietra bamboo tiles bring texture and contrast.

The basin sits on a dark black oak Duravit unit, completing a warm, characterful space that makes much better use of the basement.
